In recent years, the demand for intelligent upgrading in Zhejiang's textile industry has surged. Traditional manual inspection of spinning defects is inefficient and has a high rate of missed detections, making it difficult to keep up with the high-speed production pace of large textile mills. Leading local textile enterprises urgently need automated systems capable of real-time and accurate detection of spinning quality to improve product quality and production efficiency.

Against this backdrop, this Zhejiang textile company approached Taizhou Hengyuan Electric Co., Ltd. for a solution. After a detailed survey of the production process and analysis of the spinning technology, we found that the customer's production line spinning at a speed of 800 meters per minute, making manual inspection insufficient to cover the entire process, and the types of defects were complex and diverse. The company's technical team, in collaboration with Zhejiang University, customized a solution, launching the "Hefeng" LE-16 series rotor spinning machine online defect detection and control system. This system is equipped with a self-developed image recognition algorithm that can identify more than 10 types of spinning defects in real time, including yarn breaks, thick places, and thin places, with a detection accuracy rate of 99.5%. It can link with the production line to provide immediate stop warnings without manual intervention. In addition, the system is equipped with a data management module, allowing customers to monitor detection data, equipment operating status, and fault alerts in real time, significantly reducing quality inspection labor costs and the defect rate.

This detection and control system provides customers with an efficient and intelligent solution for spinning quality control, meeting the requirements of high-capacity and high-precision quality inspection, and ensuring that enterprises can produce high-quality spinning products.
